Looktara offers a one-time photo route as well as subscriptions. MyPhotoAI's compared offer is a purchase for one shoot. Before deciding between them, select the actual Looktara billing route and compare the complete allowance rather than treating every displayed price as a monthly fee.
We publish MyPhotoAI. We checked Looktara's live pricing selectors and published policy on October 19, 2026. We did not sign up, generate portraits or test which service produces a better likeness. Public sample pictures do not establish that result.
Start with the one-time route
The live One Time selector displayed these bundles.1

The cards also list twelve packs to choose from.1 Confirm what the separately listed credits cover and how the photo allowance is delivered before payment. Do not silently convert fifty listed photos into fifty approved portraits, or assume the extra-credit number replaces the bundle quantity.
For your own brief, record how many distinct finished images are needed and which layouts they must support. A large candidate gallery is useful only if enough images preserve the subject's current appearance and survive the intended crops.
Use monthly billing only for a recurring need
With Monthly explicitly selected, Looktara's Starter LOOK 100 displayed US$25 per month, one private model and one hundred monthly credits. Its pricing description counts one generated image as one credit and lists some editing or quality actions separately.1
That can suit a continuing creation project, but a monthly balance is a different purchase from a single photo bundle. Write down the expected work for the next billing period instead of choosing a recurring plan for a one-off deadline by default.
The pricing page says unused credits roll over while the subscription remains active and expire at the end of the paid term after cancellation.1 Check that boundary before treating unused credits as permanent assets. The no-subscription guide helps separate one-time buying from stopping a renewal.
Check policy before relying on a retry
Looktara's current refund policy describes sales as final, while acknowledging cases where applicable law requires a refund.2 Do not confuse cancellation of future renewals with a refund of the present purchase. Read the current checkout and policy for the exact transaction.
A vendor's turnaround claim is also separate from the time you need to select and prepare an acceptable file. Keep a suitable existing portrait available if the deadline leaves no room to inspect a new gallery. We have not timed either service in this comparison.
Put MyPhotoAI on the same brief
MyPhotoAI's current US Starter offer includes 3 HD photos for US$5. Plus includes 10 for US$10; Everything includes all photos from one shoot for US$10.3 Personalized generation starts after payment. There is no subscription in that offer, and another shoot requires another purchase.
The difference in listed quantities does not measure the number you will want to publish. Compare actual reference preparation, candidate selection and saved-file requirements. Neither a package name nor a resolution label guarantees a recipient will accept a portrait.
