MyPhotoAI vs PhotoGPT: Shared Credits or One Shoot?

Compare PhotoGPT’s billing commitment and shared training credits with MyPhotoAI’s one-shoot HD-photo allowance.

PhotoGPT sells a shared credit pool for training, images, video and editing. Its pricing page, with Monthly explicitly selected during our review, showed Starter at $19.99 billed monthly with 5,000 credits.1 MyPhotoAI's current US Starter offer is US$5 for 3 HD photos from one shoot.2 These are different purchase units: a recurring creative budget and a paid portrait shoot.

This comparison is published by MyPhotoAI from official pages checked October 19, 2026. We changed the public billing selector to read the offer; we did not subscribe, train a model or compare generated likenesses.

Separate the monthly equivalent from the bill

The default six-month PhotoGPT display showed a $16.66 monthly equivalent with $99.99 billed every six months. Selecting Monthly changed Starter to $19.99 billed monthly.1 A monthly equivalent is not the same as the amount collected for a longer commitment.

Record the selected duration, amount due now, renewal period and credit-allocation schedule. Do this before comparing any per-month label with a one-time purchase. Confirm the current currency and total in the actual offer.

Reserve training before estimating output

PhotoGPT's current pricing page states that a training or retraining run uses 1,500 shared credits and that training and generation spend the same pool.1 For a 5,000-credit budget, the following is arithmetic, not an output test:

Planned training runs Credits used for training Credits left before generation or editing
1 1,500 3,500
2 3,000 2,000
3 4,500 500

Do not add a plan's maximum training estimate to its maximum image estimate as though both were independent benefits. They draw from the same allowance. The remaining pool still has to cover the selected model, generations, revisions and any other tools used.

Specify the actual workflow

Write down whether you need one portrait update or a continuing mix of images, edits and videos. A reusable creative workflow may justify a shared subscription budget. A single profile update may not require that wider scope.

The number of images an interface estimates is not the number you will approve. Keep credit consumption and successful portrait selection separate. Our likeness review gives a practical acceptance checklist that does not assume every generated candidate is suitable.

Keep the MyPhotoAI scope clear

MyPhotoAI's current US offer includes 3 HD photos for US$5, 10 for US$10 or all photos from one shoot for US$10.2 Personalized generation begins after payment. There is no subscription in that offer, and a later shoot requires another purchase. It does not promise a recurring multi-tool credit pool.

Download the shared-credit budget. Reserve credits for the operations you plan to use, then compare the actual commitment with a one-shoot purchase. The PhotoAI comparison is another example of why credits and finished-photo allowances should not be treated as the same unit.
